About Patrick Saddlery
Patrick Keane, Master Saddler, and maker of the finest hand made saddles, started a full indentured apprenticeship in 1972 at one of the oldest and respected saddle making firms in Walsall England. Then later as an accomplished saddler, he soon realized he had a genuine passion and flair for hand made saddles.
In 1996 Patrick decided to start his own hand made saddles business making saddles to his own exceptional standards under the brand mark of Hunter Saddlery.
Since then he has built an excellent reputation for quality hand made saddles in America, Canada and England. As a result Patrick has entered the prestigious Society of Master Saddlers saddle making competition for the past 4 years. where Patrick was awarded the ultimate accolade of achieving 1st on 3 occasions 2000, 2002 and where in 2003 the Calibre Dressage saddle received the premium award for producing the most attractive and commercially viable hand made saddle.
